Colorado Springs Guitar Ensemble
The Colorado Springs Guitar Ensemble (CSGE) formed in 2001 under the direction of Mike Zimmerman, who received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
The group consists of members of the Colorado Springs Guitar Society (CSGS). With a repertoire stretching from the renaissance to contemporary music, the CSGE has performed in local venues such as the Colorado Springs "Spring Spree Acoustic Stage" and the Damon Runyon Repertory Theater "Shakespeare Under The Stars" in Pueblo, Colorado.
The CSGE most recently was invited to perform at the University of Southern Colorado, in the initial "Cultural Performances at the Student Center." CSGE frequently performs in local churches and on the Pueblo Riverwalk.
